La Leona Sunrise Decaf is produced by Luz Helena Salazar at her family-owned farm in Armenia, Quindío, Colombia. With more than two decades of coffee-growing experience, Luz has dedicated herself to cultivating exceptional coffees while continuously refining her craft. Together with her husband, Jairo Arcila, and supported by Cofinet, she focuses on producing coffees that showcase both quality and consistency.
Situated at 1,450 MASL, La Leona benefits from ideal growing conditions for specialty coffee. Only the ripest cherries are carefully hand-picked and sorted before processing to ensure the highest quality. The coffee is then meticulously dried under controlled conditions to preserve its delicate flavour characteristics and cup clarity.
Processed through Cofinet’s dedicated facilities, this decaffeinated coffee retains the elegance and complexity of the original lot while offering a smooth and approachable drinking experience.
